[edit] Author-requested deletion
You can use {{db-author}} to request deletion of a page you mistakenly created. theProject 05:36, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Articles for Deletion
Hi! You nominated Romeo (song) for deletion but then didn't complete the process. Therefore it cannot be deleted. If you still want to delete Romeo (song), you need to also follow steps II and III on this page. You may need to re-add {{subst:afd1}}
to the article itself as these "orphan" AfD notices are usually removed. Thanks.➨ ЯEDVERS 15:39, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
- Please stop adding Romeo (song) to the AfD listings unless you are going to follow the process ЯEDVERS has already pointed you to. If that document isn't clear, please ask for help, but don't just keep re-adding it to the AfD listings, as all that is doing is creating work for other editors when we have to remove it again. Cheers --Pak21 15:56, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] AfD
Ah, I see now! You're missing out on Step II on this page. Here's the procedure:
- Tag the article with
{{subst:afd1}}
(you did that) - Save the page (you did that)
- Now read the box that appears. It says something like "please discuss this on this article's entry". That line is in red. Click it!
- You get taken to a blank page. In there, type:
{{subst:afd2 | pg=Romeo (song) | text=Reason}}
~~~~ replacing "Reason" with why you think the article should be deleted. - Save that page
- Now do what you were doing before: adding
{{subst:afd3 | pg=Romeo (song)}}
to the bottom of the page of today's articles for deletion.
Hope that helps. The process is a bit cumbersome, but it needs to be for transparency. ➨ ЯEDVERS 16:02, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] AfD Nomination: Ryan Lambert (entrepreneur)
An editor has nominated the article Ryan Lambert (entrepreneur) for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ryan Lambert (entrepreneur). Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article Ryan Lambert (entrepreneur) during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate.
