- Another ac, used in Ben Chifley
- What's an "ac"? I found this, which is very similar but not the same, at an Australian government website and depending on their copyright stand, may be a decent replacement if needed. Nrbelex (talk) 21:45, 11 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Found it here. Can't find the copyright status of his page. Nrbelex (talk) 21:52, 11 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- An ac is an image uploaded by User:Adam Carr, who has uploaded around a thousand images, and helpfully states on his user page "Please do not ask me about the sources of photos which I uploaded in the past. Those I have taken myself are tagged accordingly, all others may be deleted if they are thought to violate copyright." Most of his images start with a "ac." prefix, so I call them ac's. Some of them are his own photos, and some are pulled of the web. I'll be glad when we get all his images tagged and done with. Where you found the image, incidentally, is Adam Carr's personal web site. He doesn't own the copyright. If the Australian Government owns the copyright, we can tag it {{AustraliaGov}}, but this looks like it could be a news photo. – Quadell (talk) (sleuth) 22:03, Mar 11, 2005 (UTC)
- So once it's on his site, there's no way to find it source unless he got it off the web? That seems a little crazy... So finding an image from him on his website also means nothing and you still have to guess at the source...Ugh. Nrbelex (talk) 22:56, 11 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- AC gets a lot of his stuff from the australian national archives. in this case from [1]. Non-commercial use only. We can use it under fair use provisions. User:Zeimusu wasn't logged in when he wrote this.
