Benz (unit)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A benz (symbol:Bz)[1] is a traditional German unit of velocity, identical to 1 metre per second. The name is in honor of Karl Benz, inventor of the Benz Patent Motorwagen[citation needed] (patented on January 29, 1886) who lends his names to Mercedes-Benz.
