Bentham railway station is a rural station in North Yorkshire. It lies on the Airedale line, between Wennington and Clapham

All services are operated by Northern Rail. There are five services in each direction. One direction leads to Wennington, Carnforth (Brief Encounters was set in this train station), Lancaster and Morecambe, while the other direction leads to Clapham, Giggleswick and eventually Skipton, terminating finally at Leeds. Sundays have 2 services in each direction (this is increased to 4 on summer sundays).
