Benefits Of Thinking Out Loud is the second full length CD from the Massachusetts based technical punk / rock / melodic hardcore band A Wilhelm Scream before they changed their name from Smackin' Isaiah. This album is the follow up to their debut full length CD under their old name entitled The Way To A Girls Heart Is Through Her Boyfriends Stomach.
This album has been released three times on two different labels. The original release was in 2001 on a small label located in New Bedford, Massachusetts called Tank Records. A year later the indie label Jump Start Records decided to re-release the album as the Tank Records release was not printed in many copies and the CD was sold in a DVD cover and not a CD cover. In 2004 Jump Start Records decided to re-release the album once again, but this time under the new name A Wilhelm Scream.
