Benefits Review Board

In 1972, U.S. Congress created the Benefits Review Board as part of the U.S. Department of Labor to review appeals of Workers' Compensation claims from the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act and the Black Lung Benefits amendments to the Coal Mine Health and Safety Act.
