Bende

The Bende are an ethnic and linguistic group based in the Mpanda District of Rukwa Region in western Tanzania. In 1999 the Bende population was estimated to number 27,000 [1].

Japanese linguist Dr. Yuko Abe published a Bende vocabulary in 2006.
