Ben Unwin

Ben Denis Unwin born (August 15, 1967) in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He is best known for portraying the character Jesse McGregor on the Australian soap Home and Away from 1996 to 2000 and 2002 to 2005.
Ben started his career at the age of 12, playing a lead in the Musical "Seven Little Australians" for a year run at the Footbridge Theatre. Off the back of this he signed to a management company and worked in film, television, commercials, and theatre while he completed his education. One month after receiving his High School Certificate, Ben had the role of bad boy "Jesse" written for him, after auditioning for another role on the TV Hit "Home and Away".
In his career, he received multiple awards including International Entertainment Career.
At the 39th Annual TV Week Logie Awards held in 1997, Unwin was nominated for the Logie for Most Popular New Talent for his work on Home and Away.
He is currently at the University of New South Wales studying Law. His Foundations of Law class is held during Tuesday 2pm to 4pm in room 388 of the new University of New South Wales Law building. This is one of two classes of Foundations of Law that he attends, the other being on Friday 4pm tp 6pm. He is also studying Contracts 1 and other law subjects.
