Ben Ofoedu

Ben Ofoedu (born 11 October 1972 in Leeds, West Yorkshire) is a British singer, most famous for being the former lead singer of the band Phats and Small. Originally he was a member of the band Benz, which he joined in 1993. However in 1999 he became the singer of Phats and Small, at first he was going to be a guest vocalist but after interest of his voice increased he became a permanent member. He released a solo single called 'Your Love' in 2000 and in 2001 joined a new band called REDhill, alongside amongst others, Shane Lynch. The following year he joined another music collaboration, The Intenso Project. Over the next three years he teamed up with his three latter bands for one off singles and concerts. In 2005 he joined Four Story who went on to appear on Making Your Mind Up in the hope of representing the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest with their song 'Hand on my Heart', however they came fifth and were beaten ultimately by Daz Sampson.

In 2006 he appreared in The All Star Talent Show and he is currently engaged to television presenter Vanessa Feltz. In April 2007, he appeared in a celebrity version of Wife Swap alongside Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee.
