Ben Lloyd Hughes is a British actor who has recently appeared in Skins a British teen drama which premiered on E4 on January 25, 2007.
Skins is focused arounf a group of teenage friends who live in Bristol.
Ben appeared in the episode entitled "Michelle". In this episode Michelle breaks up with another main character, Tony. Michelle then takes an interest in Josh, the brother of another of Tony's conquests, Abigail, and finds her interest reciprocated, much to Tony's aggrievance.Tony steals Josh's phone, and uses it to take semi-pornographic photos of Josh's sister, Abigail. He sends these photos to Michelle, who assumes they are from Josh and promptly dumps him.
Ben's character also features in the next episode, "Effy", in which he kidnaps Tony's sister, Effy, and causes her to have an overdose on pharmaceuticals. Tony figures out Effy has been kidnapped and manages to get to the party at the sports hall ("where the rich kids come to die"), where he finds Effy who has had the overdose. Tony's phone is broken and then Josh tells Tony he knows that it was Tony who sent the naked photos of Abigail to Michelle. Tony runs over to Effy's body and begs Josh to call an ambulance. Josh replies with "I'll call the ambulance, when you fuck your sister" thus matching punishment to Tony's crime. Tony is left crying while Josh pulls his shirt off and says Tony has to do it otherwise he's letting his sister die. Tony sobs "I'll do anything please not this" Josh then leans over Tony and says "beg me" to which Tony sobs and begs Josh to not make him do this. Josh then smiles and taps Tony on the cheek and whispers "all you had to do was ask" before he stands up and looks down at Tony and mutters "here endeth the lesson!josh in this is well fit comon look at him "
Other appearances include his role of Colm Roach in Casualty (Sweet Charity) and as a teenage boy in Love Soup (Death and Nurses).
