Ben Karlstrom

Bernard Joel Karlstrom (born 1963) is a Canadian musician, singer, songwriter and producer of song parodies who has worked with Bob Rivers in Seattle, Mancow in Chicago and ROCK 101 (CFMI-FM) in Vancouver.

Karlstrom was born on June 29, 1963 in North Vancouver, British Columbia. His career in the music industry began in 1980, when he became the rhythm guitar player in The MLG Band, a Vancouver-based Christian rock band that featured two members of Salvation Air Force, Michael Leon Gossett and Donnie Gossett. In 1990, he co-wrote and produced the self-titled debut album “Karlstrom” (Harvest Music, distributed by Word Records) with his wife, Geri Karlstrom. The CD featured several noted recording studio players, including Keith Scott (Bryan Adams). He began producing and co-producing song parodies and radio jingles in 1992.
