Ben Jones (DJ)

Ben Jones is a British Radio DJ on Virgin Radio.

Born in Bournemouth, Dorset, Jones' first steps into the radio industry were as teaboy and Broadcast Assistant on local radio stations such as 2CR and Power FM.
After a spell as one of the DJ's at the Capital Radio Cafe in 1997, Jones became a presenter on the British version on The Disney Channel. From 1998 he worked as a presenter CITV, fronting programmes such as The Top 10 of Everything, Its a Mystery and CITV Afternoons along with other presenters such as Stephen Mulhern and Danielle Nicholls.
In 2001 he joined Virgin Radio, and since joining has presented shows such as Afternoons, Virgin Superstars, and is currently presenting Drivetime between 4-8pm Monday-Thursday and 4-6pm on Fridays, and the 'The UK Top 30 Album Chart, Saturdays from 12pm.
Jones won a Bronze Sony Award in 2003 for Virgin Superstars, and is one of Virgin Radio's most popular interviewers, interviewing such stars as Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Slash, Ozzy Osbourne and Ronnie Wood.
Ben is married to Anna and they live in London.
Most recently though, Ben has been seen as a badly mis-shapen HOT DOG at a pals birthday party!! Ben also appeared in the video TRAGEDY by Steps
