Ben Brocklehurst

Benjamin Gilbert Brocklehurst (born 18 February 1922, Knapton, Norfolk) is a retired English cricketer and publisher.

Ben Brocklehurst represented Somerset in 64 first-class matches as a right-handed batsman between 1952 and 1954. He captained the 1st XI in 1953 and 1954. He later owned The Cricketer International of which he was a successful Chairman, until its amalgamation with Wisden Cricket Monthly to form The Wisden Cricketer.

His daughter Charmaine married the cricketer Richard Hutton and their eldest son Ben is the current captain of Middlesex.
