Belpasso is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Catania in the Italian region Sicily, located about 150 km southeast of Palermo and about 10 km northwest of Catania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 21,841 and an area of 164.4 km².^[1]

The municipality of Belpasso contains the frazione (subdivision) Piano Tavola.

Belpasso borders the following municipalities: Adrano, Biancavilla, Bronte, Camporotondo Etneo, Castiglione di Sicilia, Catania, Lentini, Maletto, Mascalucia, Motta Sant'Anastasia, Nicolosi, Paternò, Ragalna, Ramacca, Randazzo, San Pietro Clarenza, Sant'Alfio, Zafferana Etnea.
