Beloved is a Christian Women's Ministry/Contemporary/Southern Gospel group from Atlanta, Georgia that formed in 2003. They own and run their own record label TraTo Records, on which they have released two albums, 2004's Beloved and 2006's Lovely Day. The group caught the attention of New Day Distribution in late 2004 and inked a deal to deliver the groups albums Nationwide. Beloved are the originators of a style of music called Women's Minsitry Music. The group created this genera in 2004 with the release of their first album Beloved. Women's Minstry Music is a style that focuses strictly on women and singing "Real Music For Real Women". The quintessential song of the genre is "A Child Of The King". The group continues actively singing around the country at Women's events and concerts. They continue to garner nominations within the music industry while gaining new friends every year.
