They recently have won the 2006 3A State Championship. Making that their fifth state 3A title in six years[3], making it the school's fifth championship in six years under the coaching of Butch Goncharoff. The football program has recently come under numerous allegations of recruiting, most of which have been proven untrue by reliable sources.

Bellevue's Girls swim and dive team has also had notable success, and its 2006 3A Championship represents its fifth in six years, and sixth in eight years. [4]
