Bellambi, New South Wales

Bellambi is a suburb in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia, in the City of Wollongong. It has a station (opened 1889)[1] on CityRail South Coast line. It had a population of 4,357 in 2001.[2]

As Bellambi is a predominantly working class suburb, there is a high concentration of government funded living arrangements. Since, however, many residents of Bellambi have been able to purchase their homes, Bellambi has become a much more desirable place to live. With many residents enjoying magnifecent ocean views, excellent access to beaches, and a wonderful community atmosphere.
