Bell Performance

Bell Performance, Inc. (formerly known as Bell Additives) is a Longwood, Florida manufacturer and blender of fuel and oil additive products (for gasoline and diesel engines) and additive products for use in power generation facilities. Their Mix-I-Go, Dee-Zol, Atom-Ix, and X-tra Lube line of products have been in use by consumers for multiple decades.

The company started under the name Bell Laboratories, founded by R.J. Bell who patented the first fuel additive product in the United State in 1909. Mr. Bell listed over 70 patents to his credit, including the first vending machine. Ownership of the company passed eventually to the Williams family in the early 1970s, where it continues to reside today. At that time, the company name was changed to "Bell Additives." In 2006, a final name change was initiated to "Bell Performance".
