Bell Bar is a hamlet located in North Mymms.

Thought to be named after the ancient Bell Inn which stood nearby. Bell bar arose from a clustering of dwellings at the gates of Brookman's manor. The Great North Road (United Kingdom) used to travel down the main road of Bell bar called Bell lane. However with the building of the A1000 road in 1851 this was no longer the case.
