Belbury Poly is the alias of electronic musician Jim Jupp. Jupp is a co-fouunder of Ghost Box Music, which is also the label he releases on. Belbury Poly's sound is a blend of influences ranging from old library music sounds and sixties-inspired pastiches and soundtracks to folk and local radio. Jupp has spoken at length about trying to incorporate the mundanity of life in the seventies with eldritch elements in his music.[citation needed]
