Bel-Ridge is a village in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The population was 3,082 at the 2000 census.

Bel-Ridge is located at 38°42′54″N, 90°19′41″W (38.714868, -90.328081)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.1 km² (0.8 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 3,082 people, 1,180 households, and 748 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,469.1/km² (3,799.0/mi²). There were 1,288 housing units at an average density of 614.0/km² (1,587.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 17.55% White, 79.66% African American, 0.23% Native American, 0.39% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.13% from other races, and 2.01% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.17% of the population.

There were 1,180 households out of which 36.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 23.7% were married couples living together, 34.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 36.6% were non-families. 30.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.60 and the average family size was 3.26.

In the village the population was spread out with 32.5% under the age of 18, 12.3% from 18 to 24, 29.4% from 25 to 44, 18.8% from 45 to 64, and 7.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 28 years. For every 100 females there were 85.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 74.0 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $27,500, and the median income for a family was $33,550. Males had a median income of $29,844 versus $21,576 for females. The per capita income for the village was $13,073. About 13.5% of families and 16.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 20.1% of those under age 18 and 9.8% of those age 65 or over.
