Talk:Beinn Alligin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Posted this on Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Mountains. It relates to the use of Info boxes with British hills, I have set up Beinn Alligin as my suggestions to the debate:
Hi, I found this project, but I'm not sure that it is quite right for British hills. Have a look at Beinn Alligin, a page I've been working on. I think this type of fact box is better suited to British hills. Obviuosly the "two hills one page" needs justification: both hills are munros, but it is normal to talk only about "beinn alligin" in the singular. Many other hills are treated like this, eg Buchaille Etive Mor, Liathach. Thoughts pleaseGrinner 14:09, Jul 12, 2004 (UTC)
Winter descent from the bealach is not hazard free, in the experience of one of my friends!
- Actually I've only done BA by the horns route, so I can't really comment. The article doesn't actually say "hazard free" though. Grinner 10:15, 14 July 2005 (UTC)
