Beipiaopterus

Beipiaopterus chenianus (Lü, 2002) was a pterosaur (flying reptile) of the family Ctenochasmatidae of the Yixian formation (Barremian- Lower Cretaceous) of Beipia City, Liaoning Province, People's Republic of China.The type and only species is known from a large part of the vertebrae, a complete wing and two hind limbs. It had a wingspan of one metre and was fifty centimetres long. It was probably similar in appearance to Ctenochasma. The name means 'Beipia wing.'
