Behesht-e Zahra

Behesht-e Zahra is the name of the largest cemetery of Iran. It is located in the southern part of metropolitan Tehran. It is connected to the city by a metro line. Many of the martyred soldiers of the Iran-Iraq War are buried there.
Many Iranian officials, including Ayatollah Khomeini (previous Supreme leader of Iran), Rajaee (second Iranian president) and many others are also buried there.
