Beggin' Strips

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Beggin' Strips are dog treats manufactured and sold in North America by Nestle Purina PetCare Company.

Designed to resemble strips of bacon, the snacks are mostly famous for their television advertising. Shown from a dog's perspective, the excited pet smells Beggin' Strips and is convinced that he is smelling real bacon, exclaiming, "It's BACON!" The product's catch phrase is "Dogs Don't Know It's Not Bacon!"

Although dogs may or may not know whether or not it tastes like bacon, it appears humans have no problems distinguishing the two.[1]
