"Before Your Love" single, released as a double A-side with "A Moment Like This", by Kelly Clarkson, the winner of the first season of American Idol, and later included on her multi-platinum debut album, Thankful. The Single itself received a fair amount of Radio play, and brefily charted on the charts. Since it was released as a double-a single, at the same time as "A Moment Like This", it seldom gets mentioned as a charting single. The video for "Before Your Love" was in fact the first video released by Clarkson, Debuting on MTV, and replaced after 13 weeks by "A Moment Like This" video. Just like "A Moment Like This" It was written to be the first single for the winner of the first season of American Idol. Unlike "A Moment Like This, Other Finalists of American Idol's first season did not record versions pending final results.
