Bedworth is a pretty freindly place, a few chavs but we can cope. I still think there should be a large-scale modernising scheme implimented here.

Bedworth Town Centre was regenerated in the late 90's. Unfortunately the majority of shops in Bedworth have been taken over by Charity Shops and Card Shops.Rocket Richy 16:01, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Rocket Richy

I would like to question 81.153.61.147's assertion that the martial arts academy on Mill Street is "a new and interesting building". All it is is an existing building (presumably one of the former weavers' cottages), with an ill-fitting, tacked-on overhanging porch (an overhang of no more than a foot or two) in a presumably Chinese style. I would love to see a real, original example of Chinese architecture in Bedworth town centre, but this is not it. Leon Robbins 23:55, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

It may be the fact that it is such a silly addition that it is a place of interest. People may want to see it for a laugh and it should be rightfully noted on the main page. Plus if you knew how to use wiki then you would be aware that anyone is capable of changing any edition. - Anonymous

I know perfectly well how to use a wiki. I was raising the question as to whether the article should be amended, before making any amendment. A Wikipedia article about a town is meant to be purely factual, not ironic. And it's bad manners to edit other people's signed comments. Leon Robbins 11:47, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 'Bed-uth'

Edit done to improve accuracy, regarding pronoucement of Bedworth slang. The slang term 'Bed-uth' came first in the 1970's, followed later by 'Bed-uf'. The later slang is in greater used today, but many older residents remember 'Bed-uth' and still use it, myself included. 84.64.117.245 23:17, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
