Bedwas RFC

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bedwas RFC is a rugby union club located in the Welsh village of Bedwas. It was founded in 1885, and was officially recognized in 1889. The club achieved great success in the 1930s, and again in the 1970s and 1980s. The club celebrated its official Centenary in 1989, and the fact that rugby has been played at Bedwas for a period of 100 years is testament to the dedication of all the administrators and players that made the celebration possible.
