Because I Love It is the third studio album by American R&B singer Amerie.
[edit] Production
"Because I love It" is two years in the making. Originally set for a Fall 2006 release, and orginally titled "None Of The Above", the album has seen some changes to its original idea. After many delays, the album is now close to being completed and released in the Summer of 2007.
Amerie's manager announced that the name of the album of the album had been changed. Instead of "None of The Above", with the title being explained by Amerie herself, it would now be "Because I Love It". Nothing was mentioned as to why the album's name has been changed.
It has been highly stated that the second single would be, Crush or Gotta Work, this has yet to be confirmed and is highly doubted. Due to International release dates in the spring for the album and single, Amerie will not be in the US in order to promote a second single. The second single is set to be released to US airwaves mid May early June (the album is rumored to receive a July US release date). The US Edition is rumored to contain the remix of Take Control featuring Korean singer SE7EN.
