It should probably be beauxbâtons with a â. :-) David.Monniaux 18:14, 23 May 2004 (UTC)
Appears without the accent in the book though... I corrected the bâton in the explanation, not in the name. --Stephan Leclercq 08:53, 18 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Page needs to be restored!
Just a little thing, not an ad, but Dissendium is having the biggest online triwizard tournament, and I'm in Beauxbatons! -cutienemo04
[edit] Localisation of the school
About the localisation of Beauxbatons: it is interesting to notice that there is a bus station near Poitiers (in Mignaloux-Beauvoir exactly: cf. the article in french) which is called Chemin de Beaubaton ([1]). In fact Beaubaton is an industrial district of Mignaloux-Beauvoir. The Academy of Beaubâtons could be there... not far from the château de Lusignan, Melusine's castle!

- About the localisations of the schools I hace produced the following map. Click on the map for the text that details the reason for the locations. Please feel free to discuss. I am seriously interested in knowing what you guys think. Lag 21:47, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Blazon
Does anyone have a decent image of the blazon (crest) to post in the article, possibly in the infobox? -Phi*n!x 21:19, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Images
The fair use rationale for the images in the gallery under "Uniforms and Study" is quite sketchy. I would say that one image would suffice to illustrate the movie depiction of uniform, then the others should be deleted. -Phi*n!x 19:30, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
