His biography clearly states that he was gay. Could someone please add him to "gay painters" and "LGBT African Americans"? Thanks in advance. jcm 9/26/6

[edit] Clean-Up/Update This Page!

Someone ought to go through this page and clean up the footnotes. The citations in the mental health section are atrocious. I'd do it but I'm not qualified enough on the subject and just don't have the time, but I think it's worth bringing the poor citation styles seen on this page. You don't site a quote by putting the person's name and the day they said it, you need to cite a literary source where this quote can be found! Fermentor 05:52, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
