The west wing (with green storm shutters) of Beauvoir, the post-war home of Confederate President Jefferson Davis, in Biloxi, Mississippi, USA, on April 1, 2006, seven months after flood/wind damage by Hurricane Katrina. The entrance and roof had not been repaired yet.

Photo shows the west wing of Beauvoir, with green storm shutters that protected the window glass from Hurricane Katrina. The photo also reveals internal construction of the building, seen in exposed areas of the structure, such as a basement brick pillar, or the cross-beam rafters inside the porch floor decking.
