Image of the Beaumont children. Siblings Jane, Grant and Arnna Beaumont, who disappeared without trace from a South Australian beach in 1966, prompting the largest search conducted in Australia until that time.

5. Image illustrates the key figures in an important criminal investigation, arguably one of the most significant and influential criminal cases in Australian history. This and similar images were widely published particularly at the time of the children's disappearance with the aim of making them "recognisable" to the general population in the event that witnesses might remember seeing them before or after the disappearance. As such the image has not only been widely distributed, but is historically significant.
6. Image enhances the text of the article considerably by personalizing/humanizing the content by allowing the victims to be seen.
