The American Elm U. americana cultivar Beaverlodge was selected as a seedling in 1925 at the Experimental Station, Morden, Manitoba, for its hardiness and vigour. It has an upright, moderately spreading canopy. It is not known whether the tree remains in cultivation.

The tree is named for the Beaverlodge Experimental Farm, whence it was introduced in 1954.
