Beaverdale is a neighborhood on the northwest side of Des Moines, Iowa. Although it has never been incorporated, it has retained a distinct and separate identity from the rest of the capital city. Known for its distinctive brick neo-tudor homes, popularly nicknamed 'Beaverdale Bricks', the community was a popular suburban area during the first half of the 20th century.
