Beaver is a town in Carroll County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 95 at the 2000 census.

Beaver is located at 36°28′32″N, 93°46′16″W (36.475495, -93.771170)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.3 km² (0.5 mi²). 0.9 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²) of it (32.69%) is water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 95 people, 37 households, and 27 families residing in the town. The population density was 104.8/km² (271.0/mi²). There were 43 housing units at an average density of 47.4/km² (122.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 96.84% White, 2.11% from other races, and 1.05% from two or more races. 2.11% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There were 37 households out of which 29.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.2% were married couples living together, 5.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.0% were non-families. 21.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.57 and the average family size was 2.81.

In the town the population was spread out with 27.4% under the age of 18, 5.3% from 18 to 24, 23.2% from 25 to 44, 29.5% from 45 to 64, and 14.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 97.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.1 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $23,438, and the median income for a family was $25,417. Males had a median income of $25,417 versus $26,250 for females. The per capita income for the town was $11,665. There were 13.0% of families and 16.2% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and none of those over 64.

Beaver, Arkansas was founded by Wilson Asbury "Squire" Beaver, Sr, born June 7, 1831 died May 13,1915. He married 1852 to Rhoda Emmaline Waits, she was born December 19, 1829 in Tennessee; died April 19, 1877 in Beaver, Carroll Co, Arkansas. They are buried at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver, Carroll County, Arkansas. They were parents of ten children.

Wilson Asbury Beaver, married in 1878 to 2nd wife: Mrs Martha Ann Hague Perkins (maiden name Hague, she was the daughter of James Madison Hague and Paluine "Polly" Routh. Martha's 1st husband was William Perkins, they had 4 children. William Perkins was killed in the Civil War). Wilson A. Beaver, Sr. and Martha Ann Hague Perkins had one son, They are buried at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver AR.

Wilson Asbury Beaver, married 4/30/1908 to Lillie Gilliam, born 1988. He was age 76 & she was age 20.

Wilson Asbury Beaver, Sr. was the son of Martin Van Buren Beaver, Sr. and Christian Pendergrass. Martin Van Burn Beaver was born 5/4/1800 in NC, died 7/11/1893 in Lawrence County, Arkansas during the Civil War. He married 11/7/1819 to: Christian Pendergrass, born 2/4/1801 at NC, died 1/17/1868 at Beaver, Arkansas. She is buried at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver, Arkansas (Carroll County). They had ten children.

Wilson Asbury Beaver, Sr's grand parents were William "Billie" Martin Beaver, born 7/16/1781, died 11/15/1867 married in 1798 or 1799 to: Mary Rebekah "Polly" Hardcastle, born 1/1/1782 or 1783, died 12/17/1874. They are buried at Beaver Cemetery, Seligman, Missouri (Barry County). They had ten children.
