Beauty of the Beast is a song on symphonic power metal band Nightwish fourth album, Century Child.
Beauty of the Beast is divided into three parts (Long Lost Love, One More Night To Live and Christabel), and is in original 10:22 minutes long. It was first performed on Nightwish's fourth album, Century Child, as the tenth and last track. Ever since, it hasn't been on any album. Beauty of the Beast is known for showing almost every part of Nightwish's style.
The lyrics are entirely written by Tuomas Holopainen. The music in Long Lost Love is written by Marco Hietala. In One More Night To Live, it is written by Tuomas Holopainen and Emppu Vuorinen.
There is a lot of similarities to operas within the song, especially on One More Night To Live.
