The show was about a family that moves to New York from New Mexico to make a fresh start on their lives.

  • Lynn Kerr (Daphne Zuniga), leaves because she was recently divorced from her philandering husband. (Grant Show)
  • Karen Kerr (Torrey DeVitto), goes so that she could try to make it as a fashion model.
  • Sophie Kerr (Sarah Foret) is overwhelmed by her new school, and she instantly makes friends with Annabelle (Kathleen Munroe) and Gideon (Ricky Mabe). She also catches the eye of the most popular guy in the school, Nicky (Jackson Rathbone). What starts as a cruel joke on the BP's part, turns out to be something more for the couple.
