Beautiful Disease

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Beautiful Disease is a solo album by Velvet Revolver- and Ex-Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan. It was never officially released because of a merger between Geffen and Interscope which involved dropping any artist deemed to have sold insufficient units.

Bootleg copies are available online and three of the songs, Seattlehead, Then And Now and Superman were re-recorded and released, in Japan only, on the Dark Days album by Duff's band Loaded.

There is also an ongoing internet petition requesting an official release for the original album. This petition has already been sent to Duff, via his management, and has also been sent to Geffen. It will continue until a release is announced or an explanation is given as to why a release is impossible.
