Beaumont, Dublin

Beaumont is a suburb of Dublin, located in the Northside in the postcode (Dublin 9), sometimes known as D9. The name derives from the French for beautiful mountain.

It is the former home of the Guinness family.

It is the location of Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, and a Sister of Mercy Convalescent Home.
