Beatlejuice is a Boston-based The Beatles cover band that featured the late Brad Delp, former front-man of the band Boston, on vocals. They are very well known throughout New England and beyond.
Current band members include:
No vocalist at this time
John "Muzz" Muzzy (drums)
Steve Baker (keyboard, guitar)
Joe Holaday (bass)
Dave Mitchell (guitar)
Past band members:
Bob Squires (guitar)
Peter DiStefano (guitar)
Brad Delp (vocals)
Band is occasionally joined onstage by Joe's sons Jared, who plays sax, and P.J., who plays drums. The boys have been spotted at many shows in their hometown of Newburyport, MA.
Lead singer Brad Delp committed suicide on March 9th, 2007 at his home in Atkinson, New Hampshire. He was 55. There are reports that Beatlejuice has canceled all upcoming shows and without Delp, arguably the heart and soul of the band, it is very unlikely they will continue performing.
Members of Beatlejuice jammed [1]with Velvet Elvis the next night at Johnny D's in Davis Square, Somerville, Mass., for what was supposed to be Beatlejuice's second of two shows that weekend.
