Beasts are members of a fictional race in the Phantasy Star series video game series. They are an anthropomorphic engineered race which was originally for slave labor. They reside on the planet Moatoob. Most beasts have the ability of a Nanoblast, when they get to a certain level of experience, which allows them to become extremely powerful for a short amount of time.

Beasts were first introduced in Phantasy Star Universe, and were a playable option online. In story mode it reveals that Beasts were once slaves for humans.
