Beast explosion! Burst open, blow off and break through! (Japanese: 野獣炸裂！弾けろ吹っ飛べ突き抜けろ！ - Yajū sakuretsu! Hajikero futtobe tsukinukero!) is episode 124 of the anime series Naruto. The episode's storyline is from the Sasuke Retrieval manga arc.

Naruto continues his pursuit of Sasuke, Rock Lee and Shikamaru continue their respective battles, and Kiba & Akamaru continue their retreat. Naruto is still screaming for Sasuke to come back. With Lee's drunken fist style he is unstoppable, easily dominating Kimimaro. Lee falls back down and appears to have fallen asleep. Lee punches Kimimaro back and and falls to sleep again. He acts like a Jackie Chan that is drunk along with even sounding like him. Lee sits down and wonders why he is here. Meanwhile Shikamaru is still struggling with getting the Shadow Neck Bind onto Tayuya but it is beginning to recede. Kiba gets out of the river and says that the wound is too dangerous to travel in the water with.
Kimimaro holds his sword over the sleeping Lee and attempts to stab him but Lee rolls over a bit and Kimimaro misses once then twice. he repeats this eight more time is quick succession but on the 11th time Lee blocks it by raising his shoe. Lee wakes up and dodges Kimimaro's attacks and tries some of his own attacks. Lee calls Kimimaro an annoying bug for disrupting his sleep. Guy is talking to Tsunade about the more sake he drinks the strong he becomes and we see Team Guy scared and freaked out from the destruction Lee was causing to the table and place. We see Tenten scared and Neji along with Might Guy had to combine their strength to restrain Lee.
Lee rushes toward Kimimaro but he trips in his rush and moans ouch and attacks Kimimaro shouting "It's your fault!" Kimimaro blocks a spiral attack and Lee screams "I'm enjoying my youth!" Kimimaro is having too much trouble predicting Lee's movements and Lee screams: "I'm at the height of my youthful energy!" Lee uses a handstand and uses his legs like a whack-a-mole thing. Kimimaro attacks with a quick bunch of sword thrusts but all of them miss and Lee grabs the sword, and pushes Kimimaro back and punches him in the chest, which also makes him drop the sword. Lee yells ACHOO! Kimimaro activates his cursed seal and makes cones come out of his elbow like hands. Lee protests that he isn't drunk saying that he's underage and "Children can't drink alcohol" even though he is. Kimimaro manages to scratch Lee with bones coming out of his ribcage. snapping him out of his drunken state.
Meanwhile Shikamaru is sweating from the use of his chakra while Sakon is following the wet tracks that Kiba made. Kiba is angry that Sakon caught up this fast and we see 3 shadows splitting up in different directions.
Lee attempts to punch Kimimaro but he uses Dance of the Earth and creates bones all over his body and attacks Lee while spinning him with his bones. Lee releases the first Inner Gate, the Gate of Opening (SEE: Eight Gates), and tries to use the Lotus, but Kimimaro blocks the attack with bones out of his ribcage. He then proceeds to attack with Dance of the Larch, blocking all of Lee's attacks and injuring him badly.
Tayuya draws even more on her chakra, breaking free of Shikamaru's Shadow Neck Bind jutsu, and Sakon & Ukon are able to outwit Kiba's sense of smell, using his discarded jacket as a cover. All three Leaf ninjas find themselves cornered by their respective opponents - but they are saved at the last minute by their new allies, the three shinobi of the Sand!

- This marks the first time we get to see Rock Lee's "drunken fist" style. He gets drunk in a fight later on during a filler.
- It should be noted that Temari and Gaara are ironically sent to protect their respective opponents during the Chunin Exams.
- The opening theme's video slightly changes, showing Rock Lee and his sensei doing a martial arts combo instead of crying.
