"Beany Bean" was the second single released by Ooberman on their own Rotodisc label. The front cover was a collage featuring images of notable people chosen by the band's fans, concealed within a plate of baked beans.
On each of the CD formats, one track was by an Ooberman member's side-project. CD1 featured Just Sittin Here by Jaymie Ireland's band Kingpyn, whilst CD2 featured Fly Around The World by Steve Flett, recorded as part of his solo project Phantom 309. Vinyl B-side Behind My Shield was also featured on the Japanese version of the Running Girl mini-album.
