BeachWare is a computer game developer located in Tucson, Arizona that has developed over 50 commercial titles since 1990. BeachWare was founded in San Diego, California by Tom Gilleland. Most of the BeachWare titles fall into the categories of casual games and education, and are created for the Windows, Macintosh and Web-based platforms. BeachWare products can be found at a variety of retail and online stores including; Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Micro Center, Amazon.com and many more. BeachWare has done contract programming, product bundling, and licensing for a variety of companies including Apple, HP, Microsoft, Encore Software, Silicon Graphics, Claris, Broderbund, and Activision Value.
