Be All You Can Be is an episode of the MTV animated series Beavis and Butt-Head. The title is derived from the recruiting slogan of the U.S. Army.
[edit] Synopsis
After watching a number of military-related TV shows, the duo are inspired to visit a recruiting station. They are reluctant to enter the facility or talk to the local recruiter until he allows them to touch his grenade launcher. He then shows them a video, choosing one entitled "No Future", which shows much wanton violence as well as the usage of heavy metal. This appracts them, but they unexpectedly find a hand grenade, arm it, and begin playing "hot potato" with it. The recruiter quickly throws it out a window, and the three proceed to join in a joint moment of laughter.
The recruiter attempts to recruit the duo, but ultimately is unable to get them to sign any forms until he threatens them with a gun. He then looks at their forms and sees that they have signed as "Major Woody" and "Private Parts". Recognizing the sexual double meaning he had missed earlier when Butt-Head described Beavis's dad as being a "seaman", he attempts to shoot them, but his gun is empty, and the duo flee.
Reaching an open field, it is revealed that Butt-Head stole the recruiter's bullets while Beavis stole another grenade. They then arm it and proceed to play catch with it, ending in apparent injury for one or both of the duo.
