[edit] Summary
Image created by me from a graph produced in MS Excel, using data from List of British Columbia general elections. Tompw
The bar chart shows the number of the seats allocated as a result of the general elections to the Canadian province of British Columbia's unicameral legislative body, the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
- The numbers within each bar are the number of seats won by that party in that election. No number indicates one seat.
- Results for the Progresisve Conservatives from 1945 have been included in the "Conservatives" figures
- Results for the CCF up until 1956 have been listed in the "New Democrats" figures
Results for the Independent Labour candidates from 1928, 1933 and 1941 have been included in the "Labour" figures
- 1945 and 1949 saw a coalition between Progressive Conservatives and the BC Liberals.
