Bay of Kamari
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Bay of Kamari or Kamari Bay is essentially the beach-front annexe of the village Kefalos, on the Greek island of Kos. The area is popular with British package holidaymakers and many holiday brochures refer to the area as Kefalos.
Not quite as raucous as some of the other resorts on Kos, featuring a number of bars and a dozen or so Tavernas or restaurants.
The resort follows the curve of the bay and stretches for approximately 2 kilometres. The beach is sandy towards the North, but more shingle based towards the South. Greek ruins can be seen at the North end of the beach.
