Baxter Humby

Baxter Humby also known as "The One Arm Bandit" is the current IMTC (International Muay Thai Council) World Super Welterweight Champion. He holds a number of different title belts including IMTC World Middleweight Champion, IKKC USA Kickboxing Champion and IKBA international Kickboxing Champion.
Humby was born with one hand which made him struggle with adversity from a young age. His interest in sports took up running at age 11 and martial arts at 17. He ran the Canadian National Team in Barcelona in 1992 and in Berlin in 1994.
He won the Canadian Super Welterweight Kickboxing Championship in 1996.
He moved to California in 1997 to pursue a professional kickboxing career. He currently trains with Muay Thai World Champion Maurice Travis and has a fight record of 53-10-1.
He also teaches kickboxing classes as well as providing private training at gyms in the Los Angeles area. Humby holds black belts in Taekwondo and Sik Tai.
In 2004 Humby traveled to China to star the film "One Arm Hero" produced by martial arts film star Carter Wong (Big Trouble in Little China) and directed by Li Man Sing.
Baxter Humby participated in the film Spider-Man 3. He took Tobey Maguire's place in filming a fight scene between Spider-Man and Sandman. Humby helped deliver the intended effect of punching through Sandman's chest.
