Bavarian Circle
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Bavarian Circle (in German, Bayerischer Reichskreis) was an Imperial Circle of the Holy Roman Empire.
The most significant state by far in the circle was the Duchy of Bavaria (later also an electorate), with the states of the Upper Palatinate, the Archbishopric of Salzburg, and the imperial city of Regensburg having a secondary importance.
